EDO2020: Owan East Council Boss Retrieves Three Years Old Gift Items from Relative over Party Fracas, Accuses Beneficiary of Attempted Murder

Hon. Andy Osigwe, Local Government Council Chairman of Owan East LGA has on Monday retrieved items he gifted a close relative in Ihevbie Ward 3, 3 years after he had gave same to the beneficiary.
It was gathered that because Hon. Andy and Mr. Mustapha Ozemoje (the former beneficiary) were both members of the ruling All Progressives Congress then and given that they have been good friends, Hon. Andy decided to hand down his previous luxury chairs to Ozemoje out of freewill but the council Boss has dismissed claims that he and the beneficiary were just friends as a misinforming tactic to score cheap political points stating that Mr. Ozemoje is a close relative who has resorted to antagonizing his decision to decamp to the People’s Democratic Party lately.
Mr. Mustapha Ozemoje the beneficiary, expressed shock over the incidence stating that the set of living room chairs were given to him in 3 years ago by the council boss who had at the time bought new furniture for his apartment.

An interaction with Mr. Ifijen Macaulay the Chief Press Secretary revealed that the chairman whose residence was attacked few days before the retrieval, escaped death from the hands of hoodlums suspected to be APC thugs. He shared the LGA’s Press Release with Enaholo J.K. dated 01/09/2020 with a head which reads, “CONDEMNATION OF FALSEHOOD PROPOUNDED BY MR. MUSTAPHA OZEMOJE AND HIS APC URCHINS” reads in part,
“…what prompted the council Boss to mobilize some of his supporters to retrieve those properties (Luxury Chairs) from Mr. Ozemoje’s residence was because of the role he (Mr. Mustapha Ozemoje) played during when the residence of Mr. Chairman was attacked by some suspected APC thugs some few days ago.
Mr. Mustapha Ozemoje was among the master minds who engineered the suspected thugs to launch that dastardly attack on Mr. Chairman’s residence. For a man who happens to have a close tie with Mr. Chairman, it was viciously shocking and detestable that he (Mr. Mustapha Ozemoje)could be involved in such an evil agenda against his own kindred.
Mr. Chairman does not owe anyone an apology for the action he had taken. Those properties were given to Mr. Mustapha Ozemoje out of the generosity and magnanimity of Mr. Chairman. If Mr. Mustapha could plan an assassination attack against Hon. Andy Osigwe, he should as well be ready to loose all privileges and benefits he once enjoyed from the council Boss. Retrieving those properties was a step towards achieving that aim.”

However, Alhaji Abdul Lawani popularly known as Abu Millionaire has refurnished Mr. Mustapha Ozemoje’s living room with a brand new set of luxury chairs condemning the action of Hon. Andy Osigwe as uncalled for. The APC leader in Owan East took the action to replace the chairs amidst calls for peace in the area stating that the focus should be on helping the flag-bearers of the APC to deliver their SIMPLE AGENDA by garnering votes that will ensure wining for the APC come September 19th.
